Caffè Casa is an eclectic coffee shop, gallery, and caffè located downtown on the Kalamazoo Mall. Our menu offers freshly brewed coffee, tea, and espresso drinks, baked-in-house pastries, made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and salads, and homemade soups. Stop in for a refreshing cup, tasty treat, and great community in an inviting, creative atmosphere.
Our Story
Your hosts are John and Kathy Beebe, proprietors of Caffè Casa since 1992. Their shop is laid-back, cozy and fun. Works by local artist Jerry Fry adorn the walls. John tends to the profusion of plants that fill the space. Kathy is always dappled with flour and chocolate while concocting new made-from-scratch bakery delights and preparing classic favorites.
Kathy’s baked-goods repertoire includes filled and plain croissants, muffins, chocolate chip cookies and bars, brownies, turtles, no-bake cookies, cheesecake, and speciality pies and cakes. She is always dreaming up fun seasonal recipes while keeping the pastry case stocked with goodies to grab and go or sit and enjoy with a cup of coffee.
Kathy even carries her passion for cooking over to creating uniquely flavored drinks, like our Vegan Power Latte, Gingerbread Latte, or any number of drinks made with Kathy's homemade Rose and Lavender syrups. Enjoy a taste of the signature creations at Caffè Casa!
